TMSA (Transportation Marketing & Sales Association) Compass Awards
The Transportation Marketing & Sales Association was founded in 1924 as a professional association serving the rail industry. Fast-forward 100 years and its mission today is to advance the success of marketing and sales professionals in all modes of the commercial freight transportation market. TMSA enables sales and marketing professionals to learn and give back to the transportation and logistics industry through education, connections, and resources – ultimately strengthening their individual development, their businesses, and the industry at-large.
Since its founding in 1998, MindShare Strategies has been an active Associate member of TMSA – and in fact was the association management company of record for TMSA for 22 years. As Senior Partner of MindShare Strategies, Brian regularly provides business strategy and marketing counsel to the firm’s key accounts, including Food Shippers of America (FSA) and the Women In Trucking Association (WIT). With 30+ years marketing, communications, and sales experience in transportation, warehousing, and logistics, Brian has special expertise in business strategy, B-to-B marketing, and association management. Previously he was CEO of the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA), Executive Director of the National Strategic Shipment Transportation Council (NASSTRAC) and was the first lead marketing executive who established the formal marketing function at C.H. Robinson.
